Devon Partnership NHS Trust

Striving towards excellence.

Who are we?

At Devon Partnership NHS Trust, we provide a range of high-quality specialist mental health, learning disability and neurodiversity services for the people in our region and beyond. We’re passionate about promoting good mental health and overall wellbeing.

Our staff are pivotal in everything we do, and we’re committed to involving them fully in the development of our organisation and our services. We employ more than 4,500 people across our organisation, and we receive in excess of 74,000 referrals a year, allowing us to support 26,000 people each month. It’s a huge operation, and we couldn’t do it without our teams.

We look to the NHS Constitution to underpin everything we do, and our values are incredibly important to us. They are: compassion, respect and dignity, everyone counts, improving lives, working together for patients, and commitment to quality of care.

Where are we?

We operate all over Devon, providing essential mental health care to thousands of people in our communities. The Haldon in Exeter is home to our specialist eating disorder service, where we have 10 bed spaces available to treat people requiring inpatient care for severe eating disorders.

At Langdon Hospital in Dawlish, you can find the base for our inpatient secure mental health services, where we care for adult males with both low and medium secure mental health needs. Our teams work tirelessly to improve the wellbeing of their patients – at times it can be tough, but it’s also incredibly fulfilling.

My favourite place to visit on my days off is probably the smaller towns in Cornwall, the coves and the beaches. I spend my days off with my children and our animals.
