Working 22.5 hours per week as part of a multidisciplinary team, the Nursing Associate role will see you bridge the gap between Healthcare Assistants and Nurses, supporting them and the wider team to deliver high quality, person-centred, compassionate care to Service Users.
With experience from the NHS or private sector, you'll have a natural way with people and be able to communicate effectively as you provide person-centred care and support for adults with acute mental health conditions.

All applicants must hold a Nursing Associate qualification.As a Nursing Associate, you will be:
- Assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating and providing high-quality nursing care
- Responsible for personal development and support the development and supervision of others by developing and maintaining specialist knowledge
- Working proactively to ensure that every Service Useris well cared for
- Respond to emergency situations with composure, maintaining safety and seeking support, supporting the resident, family and other staff as required
- Maintaining clear, accurate and concise clinical records
Maintaining resident dignity and confidentiality at all times - Ensuring clinical practice is evidence based or peer reviewed “best practice”
Developing and maintain clinical skills and knowledge necessary to deliver and evidence-based service. - Participating in the supervision, caseload monitoring and clinical education of student nurses and less experienced staff with support of senior staff

Pinhoe View is a new purpose-built facility where a range of mental health services are provided for adults with acute mental health conditions across two wards and eight individual flats.The 24-hour acute inpatient service is supported by a full multidisciplinary team, which specialises in the assessment, treatment and stabilisation of people suffering from a significant mental health episode and in crisis.
