Psychiatrists

As a Psychiatrist you’ll use your experience and qualifications to have a lasting impact on the mental wellness of people in our region.

Across the huge region covered by our Provider Partners, our Psychiatrists use their experience and qualifications to have a lasting impact on their communities. From Adult Eating Disorders treatment in Bristol and Exeter, to Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) Tier 4 and Secure Services across the region, this is both an incredibly rewarding career and an opportunity to live and work in one of the most scenic parts of the country.

In a Psychiatrist role, you’ll assess and manage the treatment needs of your patients, whose needs could vary from eating disorders and comorbidities such as depression, anxiety, and obsessive compulsive disorder to personality disorders, anxiety disorders, and obsessional symptoms. Many of our Provider Partners offer inpatient treatment, but there are also alternative options to suit the needs of our individual patients.

The most important quality is compassion for those you’re working to support. We’re looking for people who are experienced, highly qualified, and truly understand the lasting impact that this type of work has on their patients.
