We are looking for a Practice Education Lead to oversee our Trust Preceptorship programmes and to lead on AHP pathway planning and AHP placement provision.
This role is based within the practice education team and sits alongside a range of development programmes delivered by this team. This is a diverse and challenging role that would be suitable for a confident, skilled and dedicated nurse or AHP who wants to make a difference.
Main duties of the job
This role will involve leading the delivery of our Trust Preceptorship Programme. Supporting newly registered professionals through the programme, providing structure support within the workplace to develop their competence as autonomous professionals.
The role will also lead on the educational elements of AHP pathway planning and AHP placements within the Trust.
You may supervise groups of newly qualified staff or visit clinical areas to provide support where required. You will also undertake a leadership role and line manage staff in the Practice Education Team.
About you
You will be a registered nurse with an RMN or RN (LD) qualification or AHP with extensive post-registration experience. You will be able to motivate, inspire and support newly qualified staff in developing their professional skills and competence.
A clear and confident communicator, you will work closely and collaboratively with colleagues and clinical teams, and education partners You'll be confident at solving problems, and possess an ability to develop new approaches.
You will support a range of training and development programmes delivered by the practice education team. You will be able to convey complex information clearly to groups of all sizes
