We are looking for experienced administrators to join our professional team of bank administrators who work within both clinical and corporate functions supporting our permanent administrators in the delivery of healthcare services.
Devon Partnership NHS Trust employs Administration Bank staff at various bandings, while this advertisement is aimed at generic Bank Administrators at band 3 we are recruiting bank staff who will be paid for work undertaken at bands 3,4,5,6,7,8.
We have a wide range of Bank staff covering a variety of roles, all over Devon.
While remote working is a possibility for some of our administrators, there may be a requirement to attend a work base, dependent on the nature of the role/team.
The length of assignments will vary depending on the requirements of the needs of the particular Service.
Main duties of the job
Because of the nature of bank assignments there is an expectation that Bank Administrators have an ability to rapidly learn office procedures required to undertake each assignment.
There is a need for bank administrators to be flexible and have the skills to prioritise multiple administrative processes as each assignment will be varied.

- RSA 3 Word Processing or equivalent level of experience in practice.
- Shorthand or Speedwriting.
- NVQ3 in administration or equivalent level administrative knowledge and experience.
- GCSE English or equivalent.
- Evidence of continuing professional and personal development.
- Business qualification to level 3.
Desirable
- ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence).
Experience

- Excellent organisational skills.
